Easter Colors



Artist: Jean-Honore Fragonard Title: The Swing  Date: 1766 Medium: Oil on canvas  Learned out this photo in Art History and fell in love with the painting as soon as I saw it. At the time this picture was painted it was considered a big scandal because it was very sexual. Occurring in the painting is a young noble man getting a view up the woman’s dress who is being pushed on the swing by her priest lover.  The colors of The Swing are just memorizing. Here is an advertisement on the Stella McCartney’s website right now advertising their new summer 2012 line using a similar color platte for the background.

Happy Easter! I knew right away today I was going to wear a dress with floral print. I paired my dress with one of my favorite pairs of heels by Vera Wang and threw on a blazer.
